Creeped out to no end..??? I started becoming really enthralled with the story, and eventually even became somewhat "numb" to the icky, scary zombies that are awkwardly limping and shuffling around everywhere, with their most disgusting signature-snarl The story about the different groups or sometimes just a single person of survivors is absolutely gripping.
This show truly is absolutely terrific, and I am so glad that I listened to my friend and gave "The Walking Dead" a chance.
It unreservedly earned it. Now I'm suffering withdrawal until the next season comes out This show is as close to perfection as you will find out there The show started great and has improved year after year.
For me--an actual fan and not a "fan"--Season 6 is my favorite. The writing is tight and the performances are award worthy Don't get me wrong--I love Game of Thrones--but it just seems so wrong.
Is it cause one show is based on a literary book and the other is based on a comic book? If so, I have to say, at least Robert Kirkman actually continues to write and finish his projects in a timely fashion Season 6 is, in my honest opinion, absolute perfection!

It seems they have gone downhill since the intense popularity of the Season 2 Limited Edition and are trying to sucker us in.
I have all Limited Editions since Season 2 - I guess that makes me Sucker Prime 1 - and this is the lowest on the totem pole.
Do yourself a favor and wait a while. No doubt it will drop to less than half the listed price just like the Limited Edition of Season 4. I'll admit, I found myself struggling to get through the first-half of the season.
I found the characters from Alexandria frustrating, but I suppose if you keep in mind they haven't really been through what Rick's group has it may excuse their stupidity - to a point.
I was glad when some of the characters were killed off so the focus could switch back to the group. There were a few plot lines I didn't feel were exactly in tune with some of the characters' development through prior seasons, such as some of Daryl's and Carol's and Abraham's choices, but I guess looking at the bigger picture I was able to justify them after giving it some thought.
The series is getting darker and the final episode just has a sense of hopelessness about it as it sets up Negan's introduction and sets the tone for season 7.
I found myself liking it better watching it a second time. This season was one of my favorites. Finally Rick and company find refuge in a community.
Can Rick lead the new community? What consequences will come to the group? Should we kill or should we not kill? The season rolls on to all the moral dilemmas and decisions made will come at a cost.
Rick leads them into battle and they come out victorious. His confidence in the community is restored.. For every thing there is a return, either good or bad.
The group now must battle with other groups and a much larger and ruthless group called Negan. The last episode unwinds and they find they are outnumbered and outmatched This season was good, but I believe next season will be even better.
I've liked the storytelling in this show, the moral dilemmas, the camera work, and most of all the characters and the zombies look really realistic.
Most people didn't like the last episode in season 6. I liked it and here's why The show does a great job at making the viewer feel exactly how the characters feel in the show.
I felt at the end of the last episode hopeless and in despair and yes torture because we have to wait to see who Negan killed. I first hated this, but now the storytelling will begin with season 7 with a lot to offer..

It was a series that had many highlights, with the deaths of many regulars and the return of Morgan - played by the always excellent Lennie James - but often meandered through its sixteen episodes; a common criticism of the these longer seasons.
It would be fair to say that this series suffers from the same problem but to a lesser degree, as I think it's somewhat tighter than the previous two.
The acting is again excellent and there is the introduction of a major new group and charismatic leader.
As before, it demonstrates how the greatest danger they face is not from the legions of undead but from other people. I shall now go through the episodes without giving away too many spoilers:- 1.
First Time Again - In trying to impress upon the residents of Alexandria what is required to survive in the world as it is, Rick attempts to pre-empt an attack on the town by leading a large group of walkers away but things don't go quite as planned JSS - The young girl called Enid features heavily as Carol takes charge of the town when it comes under attack from the Wolves.
However, Morgan's reluctance to kill threatens to compromise their safety. Thank You - Rick and his crew try to make it back to Alexandria but at a cost Here's Not Here - An excellent episode devoted to Morgan and how he came to believe that every life was precious.
Now - Possibly the weakest episode in which Rick returns to Alexandria but the town is immediately surrounded by walkers. He attempts to help others but is not repaid in kind.
Heads Up - Rick and Morgan have an ethical disagreement over how to treat their enemies. The walls are breached Start To Finish - The walkers invade Alexandria.
Deanna is bitten. Carol and Morgan butt heads. Darryl, Sasha and Abraham meet an entirely new group. No Way Out - Darryl comes to the rescue.
Rick leads by example. The town comes to realise that they must ALL fight to preserve their community. The Next World - Rick and Darryl encounter a new character.
Spencer makes a difficult choice. Rick gets it on Knots Untie - Rick and several others are taken to another settlement in order to trade.
Maggie strikes a bargain on behalf of them all. Abraham is conflicted. Not Tomorrow Yet - As part of their bargain, Rick persuades the town to endorse an attack on another group.
In this episode we see our regulars at their most ruthless. The Same Boat - Carol begins to question the need to kill. Are Rick and the rest of the group in danger of losing their humanity in order to preserve their community?
Twice As Far - Eugene has a plan to manufacture bullets. Rosita, Darryl and Denise go in search of medical supplies but tragedy ensues.
Carol makes a difficult decision. Virginia forces Alicia and Strand to clear an unusual walker threat, where an encounter with a new ally gives Strand an idea that could be the key to their freedom.
Al and Dwight go rogue on a recon mission for Ginny to follow a lead thought lost, but Al must choose between what she has now and what she's chasing.
John is settling in as one of Virginia's rangers when a mysterious death sends him on an investigation that makes him question everything he thought about himself.

I thoroughly enjoyed Season 9, Episode 1 and can't wait for the rest of the season's shows. Soooo much better then season 8. I love the new lead in credits which are comprised somewhat of comic figures.
Season 9 takes place 1. There are some new characters which adds the possibility of new story lines. There is a significant demise which had me cheering.
Swing high swing low! It's not one of those one person shows. Good job Walking Dead! Just watched the 5th episode, and I am really liking season 9.
Feels like their is more depth than the last couple seasons, and we are really seeing things from characters like in the beginning of the show.
