Gerwig doesn't get enough credit for how truly hilarious this movie — as a comedy alone, it might've been the funniest film of Saoirse's performance is stunning and I'm still stubbornly insisting that Metcalf should've won Best Supporting Actress.

Just as touching on each watch. Glad there is an edge of adulthood movie featuring a character like Lady Bird, and you'd be hard pressed to find a more well developed mother-daughter relationship.
