Despite her suffering a torpedo attack that forced her for repairs for months, was nearly cut in half by Prinz Eugen on accident, and even experiencing a bout of meningitis that killed a couple of her crew and quarantined the ship before that incident with Eugen happened, Leipzig continued to serve for Germany even in their darkest days at the end of WW2 despite her crippled state.
Once she was ordered to move to Hela for safety in March 24th, and to carry many scared refugees and survivors on board her, despite her wretched state that if in better times she would not have been allowed to move and perform as she did, despite how she was only able to top off at six knots to crawl her way to Hela practically, and how along the journey she suffered repeated air attacks from Soviet aircraft and two submarine torpedo attacks attempting to sink her and her refugees on board her, she nevertheless made it safely to Denmark a month later on April 29th.
Btw, I hope not to see poor Leipzig in such a state again as she deserves all the food and headpats for her what she went through in life. Please also tell any tales and a particular fanon doujin that relates to Leipzig in Azur Lane as well my fellow shikikans.
She is a very sweet girl. She faints a lot because of her malnutrition but she is determined to do her best.
Fisher is her best friend who will protect her from danger. She wants to be someone that we can depend on. Her retrofit is her answer to that.
Although she can still faint, she does it less often now because of we gave her proper nutrition. I believe Prin would apology to her since it was her fault not technically.
After all, Ironblood is full of Shipgirls who need love and support so they can let go of their pasts and move on to the future. I whole heartily agree.
I can't be any factions's shikikan. I am a SKK who wants to give hope and change their futures even if it means getting hit by an endless barrage.
The original incident seems to define her character heavily as well as her refit skill, but what many might not realize is the speed boost is something that would be welcome by CAs.

She's like an odd one in the Ironblood. Like, she's the purest one in faction full of edge. It seems she would always be in pressure in that kind of faction.
But, everyone actually good with each other. Now, what I love beside her Cinnamon Roll kind and must protecc side is that she's trying to overcome her weakness and better herself.
Her love line is where it melts me. She's the one who confessed to us first! This is the moment where I screamed like a fangirl!
I'm so happy she got retrofit. Not only it makes her better in latter world, she's more healthy and I have no worry when sorty her.
Especially because her start line makes me cry. The Faction has less edge than many might think, with only real perps though Graf Zepplin has some real reason to be bitter.

Most people thought Bismarck is "Pfft, nothing personal, kid" kind of character until we can get her. And other example is Graf Spee with her default outfit that screams "Ouch, the EDGE" which kind of put people off until they learn her line.
IMO, her skin is the Godsend that turned people into have interest in her without even reading her line.
Yeah, but a good look at various members reveal alot of NOT edge. Even Miss "Hates everything" is shown to have a soft side.
Yeah the new skins were a godsend to her as her original outfit is comically overedgy and her sister the main perp is shown to have some more depth and a big soft side towards Spee.
This is what I love from Ironblood's design. I think it makes every member feel personal because I feel like there's a progress of knowing each of them from a stranger into more than friend.
At first, my image of them was like this but when taking a good look at them, my image changed for the better. Hipper was my most no-no because her design looks like a mock of tsundere trope and I really don't like tsundere so much.
But then I realize, she's kind of a tsundere that is rare nowadays. The tsundere that shapes the person she likes because she has expectation for us to become better.
And yeah, it's hard to see that. Graf Zeppelin has the genius design, I think. Because her normal form is full of hate but her Chibi acts otherwise.
This made people wonder if she's a chuuni at first. Also giving her a cute vibe while being sexy. And I like it when people mistook Desuland for being sadist.
It's the time when I see other people come out and gives full explanation about her. It's nice to see how much love she got under her sister's shadow.
TBH i hate Desuland the very 1st time i have her. Don't forget that Karlsruhe's retrofit have a skill that actually useful. Her bonus damage against mass produced ships helps a lot from my experience.
I know, I just like calling them that as they like to dress in Gothic fashion and have sharks for pets, but I know that deep down they're a bunch of softies who have some tormented souls inside.
It's why I wish to oath all of them one of these days. Even in the edgy gothic faction, Leipzig does shine as you said for her standing apart from them.

In this case, I feel including it for Leipzig would be a bit of fun for her birthday today. The Kriegsmarine are edgy gothic characters, but I love their design and they're just one big misunderstood happy and caring family in Azur Lane.
I also have her oathed and ready for her retrofit. I immediately knew she was going to be my favorite the second I saw her. While not my favourite IB Cruiser, she's definitely in the top 3 I mean right now there's really not too much competition, but considering that I only dislike 2 of their cruisers and like the rest, I'd say that should say something.
She is really adorable, and I do like that she's unique not only amongst the IB, but also every other faction with her unique rigging which hopefully Nurnberg will also have , and from what I've read of her retrofit quotes she seemingly got better which is something I was hoping for Little Leips retro on EN when?
She's been the citadel that has kept my 2nd fleet afloat as far as I'm concerned. Happy birthday, Little Leip. She does get better and it's a pleasure to see her progress to a stronger and better ship girl.
