Huntsman also has access to a very strong melee option in the Tuskgor Spear, which allows you to outrange enemies, stay mobile and create space fairly easy - a push attack is all you need to whip out yout gun, put two bullets into an elite or special and switch back to the Spear to keep defending yourself.
Super fun to play and eight barrels of doom spitting fire never gets boring. While you will cause some friendly hits due to the sheer amount of lead you put into the air, hitting an ally once with a bullet will at most shave a sliver of their health off, mostly just temporary HP, which will hardly hinder them.
Huntsman also has the option to use a bow, which is a really strong sniping weapon that can oneshot many enemies with a fully drawn shot.
It also has the option to shoot quick, less damaging arrows to thin out hordes - other than, for example, crossbows.
However this playstyle is pretty tough to master - you cannot move while drawing out the bow and rely on headshots for best performance, so your positioning and spacial awareness has to be on point as well as your aim.
Its not that noticeable on the Longbow, at least not compared to spamming two magazines of the repeater gun in the same time while also getting your clip refilled by said ult.
I dont have a guide for Bow Huntsman, but basically pick critical strike and headshot damage talents here if you are up for the challenge.

From my quickplay experience, I agree. Normal missions I play Legendary all the time, my first dips into Weave Quickplay Champion were exceedingly brutal compared to that.
Weaves seem to have less downtime between fights, more stuff coming at once plus the weave mechanic to look out for.
While the wind modifiers are fun, I do recommend dropping down one or two difficulty levels, at least in the beginning. Quickplay occasionally sorts you into games that were hosted as custom games, and if it does, you dont get the quickplay bonus or mission progression.
Before the last update it didnt matter what type of game the host created, as long as you joined through quickplay, but they broke that feature. I havent seen a single veteran weapon skin in the shop blue glow - only the Bögenhaven versions purple glow.
So if there is still a specific veteran weapon skin you want, you have to keep farming boxes which sucks.
